School Info

TTVA is grounded in flexible, connected learning. We serve students in grades 6-12 from across the Tigard-Tualatin School District and surrounding districts for students on approved inter-district transfers. We are our own school, not a program of another school in the district. TTVA is also fully accredited through Cognia and has cleared approved NCAA courses. Click here to view the full list of NCAA-approved courses.

TTVA is a blend of synchronous class time and independent work time.
     ●  Teachers use district adopted curriculum
     ●  Teachers provide instruction and informal assessments in class
     ●  Resources are online in Canvas including recordings of instruction
     ●  Open times on a student’s schedule are there by design for breaks,
working on assignments or preparing for an upcoming class.

Attendance in live classes is important for learning and growth.

TTVA students may participate in sports at their neighborhood school provided they meet eligibility requirements and qualify for the team. Students may also participate in some activities at their neighborhood school, such as school dances. TTVA students must have a signed guest pass in order to attend certain events. Each school establishes its own guidelines for these events, therefore it is best to check their website for important information. If you have any questions regarding participating in a particular event, please contact TTVA Principal DeWolfe at 503 431 3738.
